    Program running but not visible

    Using Window 7 64

I start Windows Live Mail, program starts, taskbar icon appears, but the regular program window does not appear. hovering over the icon shows the preview of the running program. The program appears in Taskmanager as "running".

    Basically, the program is invisible.

All other programs are visible when running.

I've tried reinstalling with no success.

Thanks for your attention and any help you can give me.

Try uninstalling WLE and then reinstall it...or you could go to control panel and add and remove programs and click on WLE and try repairing it.

    Hello Joel,

WLM may be offscreen somehow. You might check using the tutorial below to see if you may be able to drag it back to your desktop if this is the case. :)

Offscreen Window - Move Back to Desktop

    Hope this helps,

Solved. Somehow WinKey + P key combo had been pressed and Extended desktop had been chosen. The "invisible program" was being displayed on a non existing secondary monitor. To solve, I pressed WinKey + P and chose "Computer Only" and "magically" the program re appeared.
