Windows 7: Can someone with TuneUp Utilities 2012 installed help me?

I need the TuneUp Utilities 2012 .msi setup from this hidden file location C:\ProgramData\{32364CEA-7855-4A3C-B674-53D8E9B97936}, I deleted mine

....and now I can't uninstall it.

I should have known better that removing that file would cause problems!.

Two things you can do here...first, re-install software, that should put back the missing files and allow you to uninstall it. The other is risky, using the registry editor you and remove it completely from you system...if your not sure what your doing or looking for you can render the PC useless and is not recommended by most.

I tried both methods, it still says that I have a version installed.

Windows 7 doesn't want or need any Tune Up Utility. Which it looks like you have figured that out. Two programs that are free that might help.
Ccleaner and Revo.
Download CCleaner 3.21.1767 - FileHippo.com

Download Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Free and Full Download - Uninstall software, remove programs, solve uninstall problems

I and many others use both of these programs with great success.
You still might have to install that program again and then use Revo to remove it.

If you try to reinstall you should get a window asking if you want to repair or remove it. Click Repair.

I have Tuneup 2011 and it doesn't have the folder you have.

I deleted every key from the registry named TuneUp...problem solved

We only see problems here with Tune Up Utilities and any other optimizing or tweaking suite.

Windows 7 is already as lean and light as an OS can be and certainly doesn't need this kind of tweaking.

If you want to optimize Windows 7 stick with the Best Practices given in Optimize Windows 7 - Windows 7 Forums and/or Clean Up Factory Bloatware. Or get a perfect Clean Reinstall to begin with.

Tune up is fine if you stay away from the Registry cleaner and drive defragger. It saves a lot of time for changing system icons, welcome screen, OEM logo, etc. Without it I would need some dll editors or custom theme software and mucking around in the registry.
Of course I could leave things alone too.
Don't want to start crap. It works fine for me.

If it can be repaired by the System File Checker then I think it's out on thin ice.

Of course since most all mods will be, I guess I'm a purist only interested in Best Practices.

Tune Up programs is proof that lots of restore points are needed.
