    Password or No Password

It seems to me I have read several threads today concerning forgetting or not knowing a password and thus being locked out. There is only myself and my girlfriend in our house, so I don't have a password mainly so I can't forget it. If you have no fear of anyone in your house using the PC, why even have a password. Inquiring minds want to know?

I always thought a password was to prevent hackers wirelessly logging on aswell as house members and friends.

If your wifi requires a code, aren't you safe?

Logging into an account, without a password, remotely is not possible in the default configuration of Windows. So that is really a non-issue.
