Dell 1558 getting powered off intermittently

Hi,

My laptop just gets powered off intermittently and does NOT dump anything onto crash/core dumps.

There're no CPU heating issues but CPU fan makes some noise occasionally. There's no dust issue inside laptop.

Am I correct to assume that its H/W problem as windows 7 not writing any dump file even though "automatic restarting" option UNCHECKED?

Is there anyway I could confirm what exactly causing this issue? I ran dell diagnostics and found everything OK.

I do have MSE up and running and shows nothing wrong.

Specs:

Windows 7 home premium SP1
Dell 1558 / core i5 /4GB

Pls advise,
Thanks
