    Unexpected Error I/O, Win 7 x64.

Im new to this site and joined because im desperate for help. I have a Hp 2000 laptop that has given me problems since day 1. It all started 3 months ago when i had a bios update, so its start updating then my computer crashes and will not turn back on. I contact Hp and they send me the recovery discs. The recovery disks worked up until now but i couldnt ever turn my computer off because it would not start back so if it did ever shut off i had to completely redo it just to get it to turn back on. So yesterday when i was on, it locked up completely. So i throw the repair discs back in and it gets almost all the way to the end of the reinstillation on the Supplemental disc and then i get a black screen that says Unexpected Error I/O. This error can be caused by detaching an external device or by a faulty hardrive. I didnt detach any external devices nor do i even own any external devices except maybe an old USB. So i assume its the harddrive? Im SO sorry if i posted this in the wrong forums or if i just sound like a complete retard but im a beginner with this computer stuff and am desperate for help.

If it's still under warranty I send it back to HP and make them fix it. You should never have the kind of problems you are seeing.
