How is or what determines whether a credentials persistence is "Enterprise" or "Logon Session"? Is there a way to change persistence?
I have several users who continually have to enter their password in Outlook(2007 or 2010) when first started. The only difference(that I can see) between the users that have to re-enter there password and those that don't is, in credential mgr. Those that don't have Enterprise persistence, and those that have to enter a PW have logon session persistence. We use hosted Exchange service, and I have verified that account settings in Outlook are correct, including NTLM auth, and proxy server settings. All users are logged on locally to the domain and run Win 7 x64. I'm starting to wonder if its a policy setting that is affecting credential persistence. Any help would be appreciated.
