in the "click to" area:
under the "add new material"
the text in the 2nd button is"Modify/Show Material"
but it is not displayed correctly.
Looks like an application problem. Either the button size if defined to small or the text size being used it to large. I don't see how this could be a Windows caused problem.
Sometimes, when a display is not showing text as it should, the default text has been altered or deleted. Have you installed any software that might have done this, or deleted any font files?
Ztruker's comments are relevant in that if the utility is trying to use a font that is not installed in Windows 7, then it needs a good substitute. Would you happen to know the default font for that utility, or have you tried it in a compatibility mode?
If you have Display settings set to 125% it will look like the screeny you've attached.
Reduce your display settings to normal 100% default and see if that helps.
A tutorial: DPI Display Size Settings - Change
the application works fine in win 7 x32.
How can I find out which font the application uses for default font in button text?
As you see some text are displaying normal (like "Define Materials")
I don't see how it can be the version of Windows 7 that is causing the problem.
Check the screen resolution on the computer it works on and this one that you are having problems with. See what the difference is.
