| | Can anyone send me a list of default services I used to turn off unnecessary services of windows. However, I did the same thing to Win 7 which is obviously out of my previous knowledge. The worst is I can not use outlook to send email now  . Can anyone export your default services list of Windows 7 and send it to me? Thank you very much! | | here's my list... You can ignore Avast antivirus, vmware, and vnc. In general, anything of mine that's missing from yours is ok. You only need to enable or disable the common ones. |

| | Thanks! but I just find there is at least one problem there, the WLAN AutoConfig service shoule be "Automatic" for wireless connection.

| | Hello alexor, welcome to Windows 7 Forums! There really is no need any more to disable services in Windows 7, as it is pretty lean as it is; why don't you leave everything at default for a while and see how it goes? Later  Ted |
