I am not sure how to ask the question. But I will try to another direction.

I have my own folder that I store all my documents. The folder is Documents. I accidently linked it to the my documents folder.

If you go to my user account, the folder is there. I don't want the Documents folder linked to any location but right on C:\.

It has a different icon that a regular folder has. It has a folder with a letter. I don't like linked folders. I don't want it any library.

I know I screwed up but I don't know how to fix it.

Thanks and I hope that helps.

You mean you placed your "documents" folder in Documents library?

Right click on the Library then select Properties. You'll see which folders are included in the Library, select the folder you want to remove from the Library and click Remove.

It is not in the libray folder but under the users\Documents. I don't want a folder that is linked to there.

I want the Documents folder to be under C:\ and not linked or located any place else.

I am sorry I may not be using the right terminolgy but I don't know what is correct for this.

Right click on the folder > Cut > navigate to your C: and paste to the root of your C: - you may still have to 'Unlink' it from libraries.
