    Advices for "a required privilidge is not held by the client" error


    I can't copy to C because of that error.
    Even though I am checking internet to find fixes, I wanted to get your advices about it.
    System is 7 Ultimate x64.

    What does this command mean:

    takeown /f c:\ /a /r /d y

    I got into safe mode.
    I took ownership of C.
    I gave my account full control.
    Still can't write to C.
    Funny thing is I can write to it from my second Windows!

this is getting to be ridiculous! I am just at the point where I can not do anythng with my computer except for simple surfing and emails. Whenever I try to install new programs or update the ones already installed ... I am denied. And lately I have noticed that the programs that used to work...

I have a weird Error 0x80070522 error on one of my partition. Why is weird ? Well because I cannot save anything on the partition because I receive this error. However sometimes, randomly i can copy files on that partition after I receive the ''You need to provide system administrator privilege.......
This is what I get when I try to copy a file from the backup dvd i made when I was still using XP. I double checked that the disk was working properly and the files were there OK by opening the file in another computer using XP and another using Vista. After getting too excited and stupidly...
