Without the license key code no one can help you. If this is a store bought PC the key is somewhere on the computer case.

    Hi,

On your computer, is Windows 7 already installed, or are you trying to install it for the first time?

    Regards,

So if it has been used before, where was it installed?

Did Win7 come preinstalled on the PC? Is there a COA sticker with Product Key on it attached to the machine? It should list your licensed version. If so then Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7.

If this is retail Win7 and you lost the key, then you needed to audit the Winy Product Key from the old installation it was installed upon before overwriting it with a new install. Do you have a backup image of your old install which was activated with the Product Key?

If not then you'll have to buy a new key because the Product Key is required to reinstall.
