How can I unlock User and AppData folders?

Hi all, I'm running Win7, RC ver7100, clean installed on a Maxtor 300GB PATA HD, WinXP Home and Vista Ultimate reside on a WD 500GB SATA HD.

I want to get into AppData and Application folders to copy/import data from the XP and Vista partitions into, and out of(backup) the Win7 folders.. All the folders(all 3 OS's) have a padlock on them, and any attempt to mod the Permissions/Sharing gets me: "Can not change permissions at ths time.." I could see Win7 being locked, but not all three.. Anyone have any idea how to unlock any/all of these folders?

    Thanks, TJ

    Not to worry.

Here are a couple of threads that suggest a solution:

    Sharing permissions problem

Why have some of my folders got a lock!

Look toward the end of the threads.

    Cheers!
