    Windows 7 failed to start

I left my 160 GB hard disc unused for 1 month. It was installed with w7 ultimate. But now it says unable to start windows. I have another 1 TB hd. i can boot from this and my 160 GB still works as a memory storage. Its only problem is that it is unable to boot.I think if i install a new copy of window it will work.but i need to know why it was happened when 160 GB hard disc was not in used for a long time and any other way to recover it.
    any1 plz

Create a system repair disc from your working OS. Boot from it and try to repair your 160 GB install.

With all HD's plugged in please post back a screenshot of your maximized Disk Management drive map and listings:

    1. Type Disk Management in Start Search box.
    2. Open Disk Mgmt. window and maximize it.
    3. Type Snipping Tool in Start Search box.
    4. Open Snipping Tool, choose Rectangular Snip, draw a box around full map and all listings.
5, Save Snip, attach using paper clip in Reply Box.

Tell us what is on each partition.
