Multiple Clocks different timezones AND 12h and 24 display

    Hello,

I want to have two clocks. One for local time (Sweden) that shows the time in military (24h) format and one for Central Time Zone that show the time in 12h am/pm format.

Is this possible with the included clock in Windows 7?
Or do I need to get some third-party software?
    What is your recommendations?

The best would be to use a gadget. Presto's Clock is pretty good. Presto's Sidebar Clock 1.47 - Windows Sidebar Gadget Gallery
One thing I have to note: although it says there's an update, there isn't really. Microsoft discontinued gadgets.

    Rainmeter?

You could try building your own using something like Rainmeter.
Digital clocks are "easy" to build in Rainmeter. :)

    Regarding the security advisory:

    • If gadgets are a menace, surely they've been a menace since they were introduced in Vista.
    • Why did MS wait (until people started complaining that there weren't any gadgets in W8) to alert users?

And what's the most annoying is that gadgets are actually pretty useful. I have a clock, system manager, and weather gadget.

take a look at Timekeeper: Timekeeper « 12noon. This is a third party taskbar clock that's designed to replace the default one, but you should be able to use it alongside the standard one. However I'm not sure if you can set it to a different time zone.

At least ONE of them should let you set a different time zone...

I like the idea of two clocks. It could come in handy. A security advisory is just that; security advice. One can choose to take heed or not. I would rather seen a security patch for gadgets so people could still use them and feel secure doing so.
