    windows search services


    greeetings !!

    all the dll files are missing for WIN7 SEARCH SERVICES - i did scannow - got the CBS log - says all dll files missing - I have a restoration CD that came with the pc - can i do a repair install with that ? i am trying to avaoid a complete clean install in order to keep my files

    any help will be greatly appreciated

    What you have tried a repair install and it never worked?

    Do you have any system restore points?

    If you haven't I think you're looking at a clean install but hopefully someone else on here can recommend something better.

    I don't understand why a repair install would not work.
