Ease of Access
Make Keyboard easier to use
Put a check mark in (turn on toggle key)
This will allow you system to make a different sound every time you shift you caps on and off plus a little picture in lower right of screen.
Thanks fo that, very useful. Can't see the little picture but the sound works fine. That'll do for me!
The little picture only stays for a few seconds.
iT REALLY DOESN'T APPEAR ON MY SCREEN. i HAVE SEARCHED CAREFULLY!
Edit: That really was an accident!

Caps Lock malfunction
On my dell Studio Laptop the Caps Lock will go to Caps, but won't return to lower case. I have Mint Linux on a partition (where I'm now typing) and it works fine; so I assume it's a windows 7 thing. If I hit the shift key along with a dash it will go lowercase.

I have used a reg file to disable my caps lock key on this laptop because it gets in my way - a long time ago. I know it cannot be the caps lock key. I do...

Why is my USB drive name is always in CAPS?
Why would Windows insist on all capitals for USB disk names? If I rename it changes to capital casing. In explorer and in a command window: C:\>label f: usbdisk it becomes "USBDISK" in explorer. What gives?
