    Setup has stopped working.

Hello, basically my problem is i cant install anything.
i have tried to install several different software in the .iso format and none of which are installing. On every installation i get a message saying 'Setup has stopped working, windows is checking for a solution' then it tells me 'Setup has stopped working' and gives me an option to close program.

Im really confused and have tried to search up the solution but nothing seems to work so i thought id create my own thread.

    Please help!!

    Thank you :)

Are you downloading an .iso and then going to setup to install it? That doesn't work. You need to download the .iso and burn it to a DVD. You can then install by inserting the DVD. == What are you trying to install?

Have you tried right clicking and running as administrator?
You can also change those annoying " run as admin "settings by navigating here : Change User Account Control settings

    Also as bigmck nicely stated.
You can use this to mount . ISO as DVD : Freeware MagicISO Virtual CD/DVD-ROM(MagicDisc) Overview
or just simply make sure winrar is compatible with . ISO files and opening the setup after extracting.
