Hellos all you experts, you have helped me out a lot in recent months.
I use Windows 7 Pro, with an ASUS board about two years old, AMD 3g cpu, originaly I used the on board video, have changed to a video card.

First problem, I have macular Degeneration, require a lot of contrast to view words. Increasing the font size helps a little but I still have problems. If all text could be made to be bold that would work best. For example, I use Windows Live Mail, when I open the mail program the new messages are bold the text in all other places is very dim, of course text in windows live mail cannot be increased in size like web pages can, so that is not an option. is therea way to increase the brightness of all fonts no matter what program is displaying them. I just added a new NVIDEO card, not way to improve. I have changed the dots per inch which helps a little but messes up Expresion Web 4, most of the text gets too big so am unable to update pages. I have been in electronics for many years am retired now but it appears to me that the dim text I am having problems with is being turned on only small amount of time resulting in a dim view as apposed to on 100 % of the time. So far NVIDIA has not replied to my queston. Any help would be appreciated.

hi, sorry about the issue. For macular Degeneration try high contrast mode
Press Alt+Shift+PrtSc (printscreen)
This will enable the computer in high contrast mode. It will look like mine here .
Also if you have google chrome, this also appeared for me

Edit: also visit "Ease of Access Center" on your computer to explorer other features that may help.
Edit 2: to increase size visit "Display" and move the slider up to 125 percent.
This link also is a great tutorial to help with font size problems.
