hi . i seem too have something setup not correct when i run @bios and do the update from server it ends on 100% with a window that reads : Runtime error.
(as far as i could tell everything was setup properly, it just does not update through server)
i want to utilize this programe. please help

Yes thank u Anthony... but why then is there this @BIOS? and how do i update with it, without getting error?
U know it could be quite simple if @BIOS where to not get a runtime error.
I have a GiGABYTE MOTHERBOARD with a F1 bios version.
Please ... Please do not use @ BIOS ......
Go back to the basics and do it with a bootable USB or pit it on a disk and boot into your bios loader .... usually comes with most Gigabyte mother boards.
Or simply make a simple auto exec file and auto load it. (of course making 1000% sure you have the correct one for your motherboard. If you have a dual bios .... you will have a back up anyway ... some bios allow you to back up to ard drive anyway ... so go into your bios and check that out and back it up first.
Well that is my 10 cents worth..... Jsut do not use the @ bios app .... it is unstable and can highly likely render your unit DOA

(GiGABYTE H61M-S2P-B3) (BIOS version F1) is there an update? can u post the link or the .zip here?
And if i download the updated bios myself, what filetype do i save it to on my usb???

I don't see your model listed. Are you sure you have the model number correct?
At any rate, I wouldn't update the BIOS unless I had a very good reason and knew that another BIOS would solve a particular problem I had.
If you meant GiGABYTE H61M-S2P-B3, it has 2 versions: 1.0 and 1.1, and we would need to know which of those you had.
Yes i had hoped too have more settings available for fine tuning my system after updating the bios.
The Ref: 1.0 of H61M-S2P-B3 F1 is very limmited ...

the file for an update bios is very small(1.56mb) is this correct? my bios backup is 4mb
and is it too be saved as an aplication? or some other sort of an file extention.
