Windows 7: search option

i just migrating from windows vista to windows 7 ultimate, and it working all fine, until i come for search.

unlike vista, i cant find advanced search so i cant search for hidden files.

does any1 know how to search for hidden files?

Hello Headshot, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Advanced search is gone in Windows 7, but you can still open a Search window by pressing WinKey+F. It's the same as using the seach box in Windows Explorer.

You will need to have hidden files set to show for them to be included in the search results.

You might also set your search settings in Folder Options like below for more detailed and accurate results as well.
