    Document/Permissions mess

I recently reinstalled Windows after i was having some technical issues but since I've done that I've somehow put all my document files/important files into the c/users/Laptop folder . How can i transfer these documents over to my normal c/users/simon documents' folder? I can't seem to drag and drop. And to access all my documents I have to go into C drive and then laptop first. It's a faff. I know it's probably very simple but god knows what to do. Thanks in advance.

Hello Chuckles, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You might see if you may be able to after taking ownership of and set permissions to "Allow" your user account "Full control" of the Laptop folder and it's contents. Option Two in the tutorial below can give you more details on how to.

    Hope this helps, :)
