Windows 7: Drive Access Denied! Took the ownership, but no security tab! Help!!

Here is my story,
my motherboard is toasted for my windows 7 pc, so I bought a same board and get windows 7 re-installed. Only the mobo had been replaced.

I have four volumes on my PC. c: e: f: g:

the g: drive is the one I cannot access now. I google it, and took the ownership of the drive by using cmd line, and it was successful. and then i follow the step try to go to the property setting for the permission, but there is no security tab at my property.

all my other drives have the security tab except G:

and then i googled how to add a property tab to the property windows. and did different stuff, still not working.

Hope i can get some help here.. G; drive is very important to me, a lot of working related files are there.
