HELP PLEASE. at a loss :(

    Hi all,
I recently changed my browser from Firefox to IE9, i imported my bookmarks as explained via another thread here and all was good. There was one folder however that i couldnt get off the bookmark tab so i went into user-pc name etc, favs and deleted it there. I opened IE9 and it was gone, great !!!! BUT
i couldnt actually delete it from favs, so i moved it to the desktop where i cant delete either. Although it has gone from IE9 i still have it on the desktop. There is 1 folder in it, that and the main folder contain no files. I have tried command prompt and deleted from desktop dir, didnt have an effect and i have tried taken ownership from another thread here, i have also rebooted several times but the file still remains and every time i cut, move, drag or anything to the bin the same message comes up with file location not found etc.....

I could just move it to a folder where i never see it again but surely there is a way to bin this little bugger ?

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

    Vale.

My understanding is nothing is in the folder that sits on your desktop. Try right clicking on it and change it's name to anything. Then see if it will go away. I have had some that I had to right click on them and send to. Mail them to myself and when I get the email delete it.
