Whenever LiveBoot or Windows Installation, Screen goes black

Alright, I have a strange problem and I've never encountered it before. To better understand this situation, could you guys direct me to a solution?

My problem:
My system runs completely fine, but whenever I try to LiveBoot my screen goes black after about 5-10 minutes. Same goes with when I try to do a daily Windows Format/Installation and Safe Mode.

What could cause this, I need a fix.

Thanks in advance,
Fuhaxian.

It would help to know what kind of live boot you're doing. For example, are you trying to use a live Linux CD like Ubuntu? Or are you live booting with a rescue CD? Or perhaps a live anti-malware boot disc like Windows Defender Offline? If live booting from a specific disc, maybe the disc is bad. Or you might have a failing graphics card. Or the driver for the card might need to be updated.

Not sure I understand what you mean by "a daily Windows Format/Installation and Safe Mode". Are you actually reinstalling your Windows 7 every day? From Safe Mode?

Oh I suppose I should have used Yearly, or some other word that distinguishes a large amount of time. Anyways, it doesn't matter what I'm doing, whether it comes to Live Boot of anything or to the process of re-installing Windows. The monitor just spontaneously loses connection to the computer. What I don't understand is, my system runs perfectly fine when I boot it in to Windows, just when I'm doing something besides that it decides to shut off, almost as if it's going to Sleep.

Yes I've tried moving the mouse and tapping keys to awaken it.

Make sure your power plan settings aren't putting your Vaio into sleep or hibernate by mistake.

Power Plan Settings - Change

I'd also run the diagnostics offered in Vaio Care (should be available through start Menu > All Programs.) Does the screen go black (shut down) if you wiggle the screen or gently tap around the edges? If yes, it could indicate a problem with the actual wiring.

Thanks for your patience and for your reply,

Yes, I actually already tried changing the power settings even though that it's highly unlikely that it could be affecting it, knowing that I'm not even booting into Windows. I also have two monitors that I've tried one after the other and have yet to prevail. This is really a strange occurrence.
