You must choose the USB stick to boot after being absolutely sure you formatted and wrote to stick correctly following the instructions given.

To choose the stick tap the one-time BIOS Boot Menu key at boot to choose it.

Please fill in your System Specs in bottom left corner of your post.

@gregrocker
I'm not able to get into any settings, the computer shuts down before i am able to do anything. So i'm not able to change the boot frequency.

Could it be a grounding issue?Could you run the board without the case, while trying all mentioned suggestions?

Use one of the other methods to Clear CMOS - 3 Ways to Clear the CMOS - Reset BIOS.

You must be utterly thorough and not miss a single step, read everything until you understand it or ask back.

Hmm, i tried to reset the CMOS by connecting the jumper pins by using some metal to connect them for half a minute or so.
But now the computer doesn't do anything.
Can't turn on the computer now. when i press the power bottom nothing happens.
have i just burned out my motherboard?
Or can it damage the power supply to reset the CMOS via that method?

I unplugged the power supply, then i helt the power bottom for 10 sec, waited around 30 sec. Connected the two pins via an metal object. (screw driver). held it there for 30 sec. plugged the power supply back in. tried to power the system but no responds at all. Not even the fans start spinning. not any sound or lights anywhere.
this is getting messy

Where in the tutorial did it say to short the pins with a screwdriver? The 3 options are to reset in BIOS setup, remove the CMOS battery, or use the jumper if there is one.

You'll need to post in hardware forum or take it to a shop now.

Is,or should i say "was" there a jumper in the first place in the clear cmos position?

As it says in the tutorial it depends upon your model. But if there is no jumper I would not short anything, although someone more experienced in hardware may know better and choose to do that. I wouldn't.

Before you ruin your pc, stop making hardware changes. If it was running fine and someone else used it and shut it down last they could have done ( not knowingly ) done a simple thing. Keep working through Greg`s steps. You need to make a startup repair disc somehow and use it, you`ve got to get the pc to stay running 1st.

The only shortening i am allowing myself,is to boot while on the bench, hope that aint that risky at all!
On the other hand, could all OPs problems be,because of a missing jumper, maybe while changing modules?
