Hello.
Exactly how many svchost processes are supposed to be running?
What are they doing?
Is this normal activity?

svchost.exe memory question
Is it usual for that process to take up 500-600K or memory? I don't recall seeing it take up that much space before. Just curiosity because if i run some program that requires lots of memory, it starts to lagg. Never had that happen before either.

Hello, Im just curious about my svchost process. Its using 100MB of my RAM. Is it normal? I remember it wasnt so high, and now my Win 7 x64 is using in idle about 30% (before like 24%) with nothing open, only MSE (70MB of RAM)and some other apps under 5MB.. Thanks for reply, Lord

I have noticed recently that in my Task Manager I have 10 svchost.exe running!! This is using my CPU up and therefore making my computer slow. I have included a screenshot, can anybody please help me to solve this problem.

Hi! This two exes are trying access to internet. Do I permit this connection? I know that both of them are windows system process but I don't know if ntoskrnl.exe realy need internet access because it's boot process. Both of them are in windows/system32 direcory
