Shorcut link.... icon is messed up

    Shorcut link.... icon is messed up




    as ya'll can see the when I create a shortcut link the icon is messed up.

    1- what caused this?
    2- how can I fix it?

    JDownloader is used for rapidshare and the like, right?

    Does it affect all apps or just this one?

    Hello Da Ripper,

    If this happens with all shortcuts that you have or create, then you might see if the lnk download in the tutorial below may be able to restore the default associations for shortcuts (lnk) for you.

    Default File Type Associations - Restore

    it affects all... but everything is fine now... weird.. dunno what caused it...

Please please please help! It looks like this: http://i.imgur.com/dNTn5.png I tried rebuilding the icons cache, but it didn't work. I also tried system restore, but it didn't work also.
My external HDD's icon is messed up, please help me to get it back to normal. I have tried to set a custom icon but it did not worked, I created an autorun file.
One shortcut on my Start Menu is missing it's icon. I've opened up the All Programs folder to replace it, but as soon as it hits the folder, the icon disappears. Watch: http://screencast.com/t/Mzg4YmQz Any ideas why this is happening?

i want the default icons windows 7 gives you cuz i dont care much for themes but i was bored and looked at one installed it didnt like it so i got rid of it but my icons for the folders have not changed (i have tried restoring them back to default) idk whats wrong with it but its bugging me alot ...
