Desktop with windows 7-OS not starting

    hiii,
    i think PSU may be the problem....my current psu is of 230w..and calculated psu watt by the psu calculator is 400w.....


    Iam planning to raise my psu to 500w....here the new question araise,is there any problem if i use high watt psu than the recommented watt of my system,(recommented is 400w and am planning to buy a 500w psu)

    Yap,the root cause for the problem is smps(power supply unit),replaced with new 450 watt smps...and problem set right.....thanks to all especially gregrocker &Kaktussoft.
