    I just installed Icloud in VMware and got the same icon in My computer under other than I used Revo UnInstaller Download Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Free and Full Download - Uninstall software, remove programs, solve uninstall problems and uninstalled everything that had to do with Apple and icloud and it remove the icon from my computer. So I would suggest you reinstall icloud again and then use Revo to uninstall it using the advance setting for scanning for the leftovers (look at screenshot).

    Hide the icon

    Use regedit to delete the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MyComputer\NameSpace\{F0D63F85-37EC-4097-B30D-61B4A8917118}

    You can optionally search the whole registry for F0D63F85-37EC-4097-B30D-61B4A8917118 and delete anything appropriate - it's all Photostream gunge.
