Unable to Remove Pinned "Computer" From Start Menu

In the start menu search box I searched "Computer" and dragged and dropped it onto the main start menu. Now when I right click and select "Remove from list" it doesn't get removed.
    The item isn't listed in:
    C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\StartMenu
I had "Don't show this item' selected in the start menu properties for "Computer", so I didn't realize I could have another way of displaying it prior to my putting it on the start menu.
I ran SFC and a new user account does the same thing.

    Hello James,

Could you post a screenshot showing this to help make sure if it's pinned to the Start Menu (above line), or just a recent program in the Start Menu (below line)?

If it's in the pinned to area, then it may just be a remnant registry entry causing it to still be listed even though it's not in the Start Menu folder in your post. You might give the tutorial below a try to completely reset the Start Menu pin to area to see if that will remove it for you.

    Hope this helps, :)

Could you provide a screen please of this please? when you use the proper setting the computer link should be on the right side of the start bar when it opens.
The settings for that would be right click taskbar --> properties ---

    I don't show recent programs.
The "Computer" I'm speaking of is not on the right. I dragged it to the left side.
I ran the batch file and it removed "Computer" and all my other Pinned items in the start menu.
No big deal, adding the 5 items back won't take long.

Thanks much for the batch file,
    James

You're most welcome James. I'm happy to hear it was removed. :)
