Wanting to move my User folders to another partition

If I run multiple OSes, having all the User folders in a partition by itself might eliminate duplication. If there is a thread on how to redirect the the user folders, that would be helpful. Noticed that even with Admin authority I can't move all the files in C:\User ... I must be missing something.

Need to mention I use just one User and give it Admin privileges, so maybe the easy way would be just set up a Drive D and put all my User data there.

    Open to comments/suggestions.

Copy your User folders to the data partition, rightclick to add to the related Library - Include a Folder - Windows 7 Forums.

This avoids issues with moving the shell User folders off of C.

Once the data partition content shows up correctly in each Library you can delete the C User folder content.

My notebook was bought in 2010 and has a Celeron CPU - can't virtualize.

Definitely planning the next notebook to have an Intel chip that will support VMs.

My motive for multiple OSes? Knowing what each can do if I have to talk to users. It's not running legacy apps.
