i dont have a password login

Heres my problem. Upgraded video card on older computer, geforce210 to 9800gtxplus and disabled and uninstalled driver for 210...when gets to windows login it wants a password to login but i dont have a password login. I tryed several older passwords to no avail and rebooted with same results then shutdown computer and put 210 back in and login screen does not require password like it should be. What is going on ? crazy man!

Hello Fearless fly, and welcome to Seven Forums.

If you do not have a password created for your user account, then you should be able to just leave the password field empty and press Enter.

    Hope this helps, :)

Odd. If that doesn't work to where you can temporarily create a password for your account and remove it later after the 980gtx is connected, then you may be able to use an option in the tutorial below to reset your password.

got it, finally. newest graphic driver causing blu screen of death and was able to safe mode it and get older driver and everything "seems" fine. Still wonder why there was the password login then and not now since I did none of Brink suggested...didnt get that far but I know where to come for advise !

I'm happy to hear that you got it sorted. Thank you for posting back with your findings. That was an odd issue.
