    Black Screen


    I have a problem it's when I log in, when I log in it shows a black screen for like 30 secs. and then launches explorer.exe. It happened after I installed a program (that I think is a virus) but I uninstalled it and did a full scan on MSC. Please help as this can get REALLY annoying.

    What do you mean by it launching explorer.exe?
    Does the computer function properly after the boot sequence?
    Please press Windows+R, enter "msconfig" without the quotes, press enter. It will launch a System Configuration window. Go to the Startup tab and make a screenshot or multiple screenshots, so we can see all the entries.

    What I mean by explorer.exe I mean it boots up. And it does it fine too.
