Ok writers, this one's for you, switching icon help.

For the Halloween Theme I am creating for October, I created a Halloween theme for my desktop and one of the Easter eggs is that when you click the menu's icon, an image appears saying Happy Halloween. I have gotten this far, but now I need to know how to write the code for making the actual icon switch from one to another when I click the icon. The icon is of an unlit jack o lantern and I have two icons: a lit jack o lantern, and an unlit jack o lantern, that look exactly the same (apart from the lighting versus unlit). I need to make it so that the unlit jack o lantern changes to the lit icon when the unlit icon is clicked. How do I do this? Again, thank you for your help and support. Using Notepad for the code...

Oh PS, its basically the same thing that happens when you have a custom set of recycle bin icons and you empty the recycle bin, the icon changes from the full to the empty one.
