If you used Partiiton Wizard to convert C to a Logical drive then shrunk it to add another partition it should allow you to create an adjacent Logical partition which will not change the disk to Dynamic. Make sure C is now Logical, and you chose a Logical partition to create during this process:

Post back a another screenshot of your maximized Disk Mgmt drive map and listings.
No I didn't Create logical C drive as partition wizard was not able to burn because it was not detected by any tool(the problem is been discussed with BRINK)!!
But i used partition wizard directly to shrunk some space;
So for trial i created 5GB unallocated and the PW captioned it as logical.
But after trying to label it , it gave msg of Dynamic disk from basic>???
Waiting for help..
thnks..
Also In the above video when Unallocated space is given a CREATE command , the wizard is able to create partitions.
But in my case the the CREATE command does not do this and it shows that
" no free MBR slots!!!!"
