    Windows 7 logon screen question

Is it possible for me to stretch the logon screen onto 2 screens?

I don't think so. Not easily anyway. There is no Windows setting that I know of for that. You don't get dual monitor support until you hit the desktop.

Yes, I believe so. Its a function of the Video card. By default the POST screen and the Windows boot up and login screen only show on the one monitor. Once Windows is actually fully loaded to the desktop you'll get multi monitor support. My Video card has VGA, DVI and HDMI. If only a VGA monitor is connected the POST shows on that monitor. If I connect a second monitor to the DVI, the POST screen and Windows login screen move to that Monitor only. I can't change it, its hard coded into the PCIe Video card. My old AGP card is just the opposite. It mirrors everything on to both monitors. Personally I like it just on the one monitor.
