error 0x80004005: unspecified error windows 7

Hello. Iím having problems extracting files onto a folder. Iíve tried doing this under administration mode and on my daily mode. Iíve used 2 different extracting tools, and Iíve tried extracting 3 different files from different sources. I extract onto my desktop and move my folder and I get:
error 0x80004005: unspecified error

If I extract onto the folder directly I get:

! C:\Program Files (x86)\Paradox Interactive\Europa Universalis III\mod\TDY1.02.rar: Cannot create The Dark Years\history\provinces\1112 - Trarza.txt
The system cannot find the path specified.

Im extracting game mods for a game, but I doubt that it is a problom with the game since the game does't control my Windows. I uninstalled my AVG anti-Virus (I read it causes this problem) but I still have this issue.
