When I start my computer, the boot manager comes up with two options that are the same. Windows 7 64 bit. When I open msconfig under boot it has two options and I cant delete one of them. Thanks for any help in advance
How about editing the BOOT.INI file?
Description of the BOOTCFG Command and Its Uses
Enter the Command Prompt (Safe Mode) and then enter bootcfg /default for the operating system entry to be automatically selected, then you shouldn't get the option of two operating systems.
Does it go ahead and boot OK if you make the choice? There is an option in the lower right corner. If it boots OK after you make the choice, check that window that says "Make Boot Setting Permanent". Hopefully this will start your PC without you having to choose each time. Let us know how that goes.

bigmck: It boots fine if I choose either option but I am not sure what window you are talking about that says "make boot setting permanent"

I tried the tutorial you sent and unfortunately I am stilling having the same problem.
I ended up changing the settings in easyBCD to boot default operating system after 1 second so now I dont have to wait 30 seconds or press enter. Thank you all for your help

Please post back a screenshot of your maximized Disk Management drive map and listings:
1. Type Disk Management in Start Search box.
2. Open Disk Mgmt. window and maximize it.
3. Type Snipping Tool in Start Search box.
4. Open Snipping Tool, choose Rectangular Snip, draw a box around full map and all listings.
5, Save Snip, attach using paper clip in Reply Box.
Tell us what is on each partition.
You should not have two listings unless you have another OS installed you may not know about, or old boot code which might be cleared by running Startup Repair - Run 3 Separate Times.
If the listing is not shown to delete in EasyBCD, then uncheck Show Boot Menu.
