Hello Pedro,

You could download and merge the .reg file for the listed lnk (LNK) and exe options in the tutorial below to restore their default associations and hopefully fix this for you.

Hope this helps,

Clicking on the tutorial link in my post above will give you step by step instructions on how.

It will not affect if you have known file extentions set to show to hide.

You needed to do what's in this post instead to fix .lnk and .exe files.

If this just happened recently, then you may also be able to do a system restore using a restore point (if available) dated before this happened to fix it.

Unable to Post Quick Reply
There is no cursor in the Quick Reply field. If I place my mouse in the field and left click, nothing happens. If I click on the "Post Reply" button, it works fine. I've also noticed this same behavior on some web pages.

Quick Reply Oddity
Just today, I have started noticing that when using the Quick Reply to respond to a thread, that my post is added to my last one, instead of adding it new. This is disconcerting, because my comments not appearing in normal sequence means that they don't relate to the normal flow of discussion. ...

Quick Reply not working
I just submitted two posts using Quick reply and neither showed up in the thread. Used the normal Post Replay and it worked. Anyone else having this problem? If not, is there anything I can do to fix it?
