    PDF Icon changed

I been having this problem for ages, basically my PDF icon has changed to this..

    PDF Icon changed-pdf.gif

Now it is annoying me because I sometimes forget which program it is.. In windows explorer I can see a small adobe Icon (for files with pdf extension) but as soon as I click it in the taskbar the icon looks like that. Adobe is the default reader for PDFs. I have tried to set it in the file extensions in Control Panel but pdf extension does not exist there!

I am completely at a lost now...

Try this and see if your icon appears as it should.

    Icon Cache - Rebuild

Do you know where adobe icon is stored?
