    Well richnrockville said it right but let me put down each step thoroughly:
    1-Right click the folder you want to be "read and execute only". Go to Properties.
    2-Go to Security Tab. There, you will see accounts and capabilities. Choose your user account in your case and deny "Modify and Write" by playing with the tickboxes. And make sure you allow everything for admin.

    Note that you do all these under the admin account.
