I suggest contacting Microsoft for assistance;Hello everyone,
I'm sorry but I'm new here. I didn't know that I could not just barge to someone elses' thread. =( As what I have stated before, I also encountered the same concern with the other member here. But I'm not sure if we have the same issue about employees selling OS.
I bought my ASUS eeePC 1015PX last Nov of 2011 and after I did a boot scan with avast last month. It showed infected files so I deleted those files and after few days, my netbook is prompting me that my windows 7 starter OS is counterfeit. How could this be possible if I bought this in a well-known computer shop here in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
So, please I'm begging you to also help me with my problem. Here is the diagnostic report:
Hope to hear from you very soon. I am about to lose patience on this notebook whenever it pops up a counterfeit message. And when it popped up, all systems and tools got jammed.Code:Diagnostic Report (1.9.0027.0): ----------------------------------------- Windows Validation Data--> Validation Code: 0 Cached Online Validation Code: N/A, hr = 0xc004f012 Windows Product Key: *****-*****-KG794-FJYHG-YCJVG Windows Product Key Hash: 4clElKz4x2Yzq4iiborX50Uv898= Windows Product ID: 00342-OEM-8992752-30005 Windows Product ID Type: 2 Windows License Type: OEM SLP Windows OS version: 6.1.7600.2.00010300.0.0.011 ID: {72B40C5F-9DA8-4DC2-97E5-0099F80C9C5C}(1) Is Admin: Yes TestCab: 0x0 LegitcheckControl ActiveX: N/A, hr = 0x80070002 Signed By: N/A, hr = 0x80070002 Product Name: Windows 7 Starter Architecture: 0x00000000 Build lab: 7600.win7_gdr.120401-1505 TTS Error: Validation Diagnostic: Resolution Status: N/A Vista WgaER Data--> ThreatID(s): N/A, hr = 0x80070002 Version: N/A, hr = 0x80070002 Windows XP Notifications Data--> Cached Result: N/A, hr = 0x80070002 File Exists: No Version: N/A, hr = 0x80070002 WgaTray.exe Signed By: N/A, hr = 0x80070002 WgaLogon.dll Signed By: N/A, hr = 0x80070002 OGA Notifications Data--> Cached Result: N/A, hr = 0x80070002 Version: N/A, hr = 0x80070002 OGAExec.exe Signed By: N/A, hr = 0x80070002 OGAAddin.dll Signed By: N/A, hr = 0x80070002 OGA Data--> Office Status: 109 N/A OGA Version: N/A, 0x80070002 Signed By: N/A, hr = 0x80070002 Office Diagnostics: 025D1FF3-364-80041010_025D1FF3-229-80041010_025D1FF3-230-1_025D1FF3-517-80040154_025D1FF3-237-80040154_025D1FF3-238-2_025D1FF3-244-80070002_025D1FF3-258-3 Browser Data--> Proxy settings: N/A User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Win32) Default Browser: C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe Download signed ActiveX controls: Prompt Download unsigned ActiveX controls: Disabled Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins: Allowed Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe: Disabled Allow scripting of Internet Explorer Webbrowser control: Disabled Active scripting: Allowed Script ActiveX controls marked as safe for scripting: Allowed File Scan Data--> File Mismatch: C:\windows\system32\wat\watadminsvc.exe[Hr = 0x80070003] File Mismatch: C:\windows\system32\wat\npwatweb.dll[Hr = 0x80070003] File Mismatch: C:\windows\system32\wat\watux.exe[Hr = 0x80070003] File Mismatch: C:\windows\system32\wat\watweb.dll[Hr = 0x80070003] File Mismatch: C:\windows\system32\sppobjs.dll[Hr = 0x800b0003] File Mismatch: C:\windows\system32\sppwinob.dll[Hr = 0x800b0003] Other data--> Office Details: <GenuineResults><MachineData><UGUID>{72B40C5F-9DA8-4DC2-97E5-0099F80C9C5C}</UGUID><Version>1.9.0027.0</Version><OS>6.1.7600.2.00010300.0.0.011</OS><Architecture>x32</Architecture><PKey>*****-*****-*****-*****-YCJVG</PKey><PID>00342-OEM-8992752-30005</PID><PIDType>2</PIDType><SID>S-1-5-21-1567319989-513463058-2488777010</SID><SYSTEM><Manufacturer>ASUSTeK Computer INC.</Manufacturer><Model>1015PX</Model></SYSTEM><BIOS><Manufacturer>American Megatrends Inc.</Manufacturer><Version>1101 </Version><SMBIOSVersion major="2" minor="6"/><Date>20110218000000.000000+000</Date></BIOS><HWID>04B80600018400F4</HWID><UserLCID>0409</UserLCID><SystemLCID>0409</SystemLCID><TimeZone>Arab Standard Time(GMT+03:00)</TimeZone><iJoin>0</iJoin><SBID><stat>3</stat><msppid></msppid><name></name><model></model></SBID><OEM><OEMID>_ASUS_</OEMID><OEMTableID>Notebook</OEMTableID></OEM><GANotification/></MachineData><Software><Office><Result>109</Result><Products/><Applications/></Office></Software></GenuineResults> Spsys.log Content: 0x80070002 Licensing Data--> On a computer running Microsoft Windows non-core edition, run 'slui.exe 0x2a 0xC004F012' to display the error text. Sir George,
Thanks for the info. but if you ever been to Saudi Arabia you will be annoyed on how they treat their customers. They don't have time for the customers and they spent most of their time taking teas and doing prayers.
Once you arrived in the Immigration, you will see that they fail in customer service side, so if you can solve your problem by yourself, it is much better than wasting your 24 hours waiting on the line and not getting any single info at all.
So, I'm really trying my hardest here to solve this problem. =(
