    Hello everyone,

I'm sorry but I'm new here. I didn't know that I could not just barge to someone elses' thread. =( As what I have stated before, I also encountered the same concern with the other member here. But I'm not sure if we have the same issue about employees selling OS.
I bought my ASUS eeePC 1015PX last Nov of 2011 and after I did a boot scan with avast last month. It showed infected files so I deleted those files and after few days, my netbook is prompting me that my windows 7 starter OS is counterfeit. How could this be possible if I bought this in a well-known computer shop here in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

So, please I'm begging you to also help me with my problem. Here is the diagnostic report:

    Sir George,

Thanks for the info. but if you ever been to Saudi Arabia you will be annoyed on how they treat their customers. They don't have time for the customers and they spent most of their time taking teas and doing prayers.
Once you arrived in the Immigration, you will see that they fail in customer service side, so if you can solve your problem by yourself, it is much better than wasting your 24 hours waiting on the line and not getting any single info at all.

So, I'm really trying my hardest here to solve this problem. =(

Try entering the product key on the COA sticker under your battery,

    Product Key Number - Change

That is for changing it but it will show you how and where to enter it to see if it fixes it.
It doesn't even have those hyperlink where you can click on and change it. Here is an attachment of the printscreen.

Try slui typed in start menu search, then activate now, when asked enter your product key from under the battery.
