Deleted Recovery partition. Unable to boot into windows now.

What's a consumer multi-boot issue? Maybe you can post a link to the definition. The site I posted has more in depth knowledge about booting than any I've seen being on the web for quite a long time. If that makes it "professional" rather than "consumer" then I don't really care.

Consumer is the average multi-boot user we serve here in these Consumer tech forums - who I believe would be in way over their head to even browse that site, as was I.

The methods that have survived the three years here are almost all automated. As soon as we get into heavy code with the average user we either lose them or they lose their system, as just happened again the other day when automated methods were ignored and code-proffering stretched on for pages until Win7 was no longer even salvageable.

I am only interested in what works - day-in, day-out, every time - here where the largest number of consumers are served and on some days we deal with a dozen or more boot issues.

Nothing to do with offense. I just didn't understand the post. If this site wasn't top tier I wouldn't spend all the time I do here. Yeah the boot specialty site is highly technical. But there are people on the forums to break stuff down to be understood. It's just another resource that many aren't aware of. If I have a multi-boot problem it's been a long time for me so I would definitely ask you to help me out. :)

That's the problem. If you want to fix the bootmgr, you need an active partition. With the bootable CD (or USB stick) of Partition Wizard, that is easy to do.
