Skydrive changed the date modified of 1000s of my docs!!

How do I get back the original time of date modified? I need them the date modified to be restored immediately. I'm in deep trouble if this cant be done in a snap or soon as all my office files(doc, xls) are in a folder and all are showing the same date!

This is not at all uncommon and isn't worth fighting. If you disagree then access Skydrive Team's email support to ask for their help on it.

Common as in with Skydrive? or with most cloud services such as dropbox/google drive?

Any number of seemingly unrelated functions can change the date modified, even copying. You'd have to get the official position from Skydrive team via email, but I stopped wondering why the modified date would change a long time ago. It seems it can change if you affect the file in any way.

Seriously that sucks. I know it didn't change for me for years together. I've moved them from partitions to drives and vice versa with no problem but yeah every once in a while for the odd file or two I never could figure why it changed.

    Thanks for your help
