I have a problem and I will try to explain this very simple;
I'm in a folder and I open a folder which is focussed somehwere in the middle of my screen (selected view = details);
I go back, one level up;
The folder I'm coming from is now focussed in the bottom of my screen, the last one.
And I don't want that, it should be exactly where it was when I entered it.
Is there a way?

This is a bug in Win 7. It seems that the focused folder always seems to be placed at the bottom of the window. Same thing happens to me.
Try a different File manager.

Also another question:
In explorer, you got 2 panels. Left the folder browsing thing, and right the contents. When I open explorer, then click in the left panel on a folder, I have to click first in the right one before scrolling down there.
And I don't like that. Is there a way that this panel becomes active without clicking? When I only enter with my mouse?
Yes I do.
Yes, Why MS has always made the user click in either panel, left or right, to be able to scroll in that panel is beyond me. Most all other file managers have this feature but it has never been included in the Windows built in file manager, Win Explorer.
XYPlorer (costs money), Explorer++ (Free but I'm not sure it is still being developed), Xplorer2 (costs money) and look at this Google search for others.

Oh and STAY AWAY from Avanquest Powerdesk. It use to be my only File Manager for years and years. Since I started with Windows 95 and Norton Desktop no longer worked and was no longer being updated.
I used Powerdesk up until version 7 with all win versions. Then with Win 7 Avanquest came out with version 8 of powerdesk. It is the most buggy program I have ever used for anything. So just stay away from that one.
Especially if your OS is 32 bit, FreeCommander is still a nice free file manager.
The included help file is a bit out of date. But these tutorials should make up for it.
I don't think I tried that one before. I'm taking a look. There's a free 4-pane type file manager called Q-Dir. It's updated very frequently. But I've used FreeCommander for so long if I'm not using Explorer I tend to revert to FC. Just avoids learning curve. Plus it has a nice multi-rename function that's less complicated and a little less powerful than BRU. But more powerful than what Explorer has. Kind of a nice middle ground that's quick to use.
