ERROR: 'Windows Task Manager Has Stopped Working'

I have no idea whether it has that option, as I haven't heard of it I'd say no. I'll finish my backup and wipe the HDD tonight hopefully and reinstall W7 tomorrow, I'll give you an update when I can. I'm getting off the PC now, time to rest my eyes.

I have a few more questions, sorry if I'm starting to annoy you. I have a license for three computers in a household for Norton Internet Security, if I uninstalled it and reinstalled it on the new installation of Windows 7 it should be a licensed copy right? Also, after looking at part of the tutorial I see nothing about using diskpart to format the HDD, is it ran automatically when doing a custom install and removing the partition? Also, last time I reinstalled 7 using my factory restore disks I wasn't asked to enter my product key even though it says my copy is activated.

Finally, how much space is needed on a DVD for the W7 SP1 Home Premium x64?

ETA: I found that my system does allow me to create a drivers and application backup disc, yay!

An update, I finished backing everything up but when I try to format the HDD on the installation disk it says there was some error when trying to do so. I'll try to get some more information if you need it.

ETA: It seems I don't have a 100Mb System Reserved partition, could this be the problem? How would one create this partition? Or would I delete the whole partition and create a new one of the exact same size?

Final update. I bit the bullet and reinstalled W7 after deleting the partition, the installation ran perfectly, Task Manager is back and all my drivers are installed. I'm going to go ahead and mark this as solved, thanks for all your help guys!
