I don't know if this will do the clean you are looking for but it won't hurt.
Disk Cleanup : Extended

I have no way of following a path of anything on your computer.

Ok, i did that, they are all still there. In fact i tried to run one and it was going to install itself, so i will remove all of them manually.

I was under the impression that you already deleted them manually. If you are sure you want them gone just right click on them and delete them.

Get rid of those garbage public folders, all of them, and try using my technique of downloading strictly to the desktop. It`s worked for over 20 years. Then keep the downloads you want in my documents. Done, problem solved.

I`m cool too !!!!!!!!!!

I was just having a little problem with what you wanted to do compared to what you did do. AddRam has a good idea. He uses Desktop and I made a new Folder I send my downloads to. As long as you dictate where/wheir they go so you can pick and choose what to do with them.
If your happy please mark this thread Solved.

An issue came up on my comp recently, and it's the "x program has stopped working, windows is trying to find a solution", this happens randomly when I'm playing games like League of Legends or Final Fantasy 14, it even happens to Skype, and most importantly, sometimes it happens to Windows Explorer...

Interesting discovery. W7 Pro x64. I was copying content from my desktop PC to my laptop in anticipation of an upcoming weekend trip. The content consists of both (a) entire recent copy-freely WTV recordings, and (b) MPEG videos (actually previously edited from copy-freely WTV recordings using...

I am thoroughly stumped on this one. I have a user with a brand new, freshly installed computer running Win7 (Prof, 64bit) and Office Pro 2010 (32bit). The computer is connected to a Win2008 Active Directory with roaming profiles. When the user downloads a report in .doc format on this...

WMP briefly opens in "Library" then switches to "Now Playing"
Well, can't get more specific than the title. This little anomaly happened sometime this afternoon probably when I downloaded Spotify. Anyway, when I open Windows Media Player I usually expect to be taken straight to the Library by default. Not anymore. Now I get a brief, momentary flash of the...

Can't rename "Documents" library to "Comics"
So here's what happened: I was using my "Documents" library as a shortcut to my comics folder. I did this because I wanted my comics folder to be accessible through the upper right section of the start menu. So I renamed it to "Comics", and all was well. That is, until I installed the...
