Still have lots of downloaded stuff in "other library"?

    I don't know if this will do the clean you are looking for but it won't hurt.

    Ok, i did that, they are all still there. In fact i tried to run one and it was going to install itself, so i will remove all of them manually.

    I was under the impression that you already deleted them manually. If you are sure you want them gone just right click on them and delete them.

    No, i just dun did dat! I wanted to know the folder they were in, cause they wer'nt in any download folder i could open. This was an insane deal Bear. I need a drink , maybe 5 or 6! Sorry to make you take up all this time, but your real cool, i do appreciate all the help, thanks!!

    Get rid of those garbage public folders, all of them, and try using my technique of downloading strictly to the desktop. It`s worked for over 20 years. Then keep the downloads you want in my documents. Done, problem solved.

    I was just having a little problem with what you wanted to do compared to what you did do. AddRam has a good idea. He uses Desktop and I made a new Folder I send my downloads to. As long as you dictate where/wheir they go so you can pick and choose what to do with them.
