Kaktussoft - I did move/resize, it automatically selects all the unallocated space, but once i click OK on the operation it doesnt move it to C, however if i select only half (or any other size other than all of it) it will split the unallocated space. but not add it to C
Kaktussoft - I've wiped it first, done like you asked, same result, then i tried to delete, same result.
edwar - i dont get that cursor you speak of when i place my mouse in the center of C and unallocated..
Did you delete D using disk management in win7? If so: close partition wizard and start it again. Post screenshot
Ok i did all that, undid everything, deleted D, went to C -> Move/Resize. and i cannot make it space 0 before and 0 after. C is the one i need the space to be transferred to.
STOP!
Never use the installed PW Home Edition for resizing a System partition as it can fail with total data loss. Only PW CD and Disk Mgmt will never fail, in countless thousands of these operations we've helped with here.
You want the boot CD downloaded from same link to burn to CD by rightclicking ISO to choose Windows Image Burner or ImgBurn.
Boot the CD, rightclick C, drag left border all the way to the left, click OK, Apply.
Even though we've never had a failure with the boot CD you should always have your files backed up anyway, plus a Win7 backup image to be safest.
I would love to boot from cd, but unfortunately i do not have a cd-rom. however i do have usb but it already has windows 7 liveboot on it just incase i run into some boot problems.
