    Win7 Help Switch Primary/System Partition + Format

Hi, I've had this issue for a while now. I have Windows 7 32bit ultimate with 1 hdd with 2 partitions both windows 7, both have files etc. my C drive is primary with 200gb (This is the one that i need) and a D drive system partition of 800gb (this one i need to format) basically i cannot have the files on C drive (primary) to be formatted because i have hwid locked programs that i need. I need to completely get rid of D drive and transfer all unallocated space to my C drive partition.

    Any help appreciated, thanks.

...I don't actually entirely understand what you want to do - but from the looks of it; you want to nuke your D drive - and use the space within the C drive so by the end of it - you'll have a 1TB drive. If I remember right - you can't re-add space to the boot partition using Windows so you'll want this. Start the program and wipe your D drive. Then - expand the space into your C drive. It should then ask for a reboot to complete the operation. Reboot and let it do it's work. Go have a coffee or something, it'll take awhile. Once it's done - your C drive and D drive are once again 1TB.

totally wrong!! You can delete D disk in disk management. Unless it is the boot partition, has pagefile or hibernation file on it.
Afterwards you can extend C within windows, but only if free space is on the right, not on the left.

That's why I wanna see disk management screenshot! I can see what is on D and if it's left or right of C

Ok i have tried on my own a few things earlier, i just noticed that it went to system partition on its own after i actived the primary partition and did fixboot with windows 7 livecd.. so no need help with that anymore.. all i need now is to put all the unallocated space from D into C.

Right click on D in disk management and then delete it. Disk D is gone then
then download from Free download Magic Partition Manager Software, partition magic alternative, free partition magic, partition magic Windows 7 and server partition software - Partition Wizard Online the HOME edition the first one, it's free. And install it. Run it
    Then resize/move partition.
How to resize Partition for Windows Server 2000/2003/2008 or Windows XP/7/Vista with partition magic manager software? Move/Resize Partition Help.
It's quite easy. Make space before 0 and after 0. post results

Not sure the Above step will work correctly. Windows is Notorious for placing Boot files on the First partition of the first drive in the system. If you Delete the D partition, that somehow comes before, not after, the C partition you may not be able to boot the system.

Best thing to do first is create a Image of that complete drive with a program like Acronis True Image or some other imaging program so after you delete that partition if the system doesn't boot you can restore that image to get back up and running.

I also did the move/resize its not doing anything. after i click ok its still same amount unallocated
Ok what its doing is splitting the unallocated space into another seperate place, doesnt add it to my C drive
